Mother’s Day is right around the corner. I’m always so wrapped up with my kids, I forget about celebrations that are designed to make me feel special (I got the memo about Mother’s day when I started getting emails for Mother’s Day promotions). With that being said, I decided to web-window shop some items that I wouldn’t, at all, mind getting for Mother’s day. Her are some of my picks.
P.S. I also plan on printing these pictures out and strategically placing them around as not-so-subtle hints for the husband. I suggest you do the same! 😉
I love a good coffee mug. Especially since I’m almost always in need of a caffeine fix (mostly thanks to my 2 children!) The mug from weestructed is a perfect addition to the pantry; partially because it reminds you of why you’re probably drinking coffee in the first place: raising tiny humans is exhausting. The tote bag also makes it onto the wish list because I’m trying to be more eco-friendly and what better way to communicate your situation at the grocery store than packing two kids and this tote, right?!
This tank top by Sandi Lake Clothing spoke to me because, well, I’m a Rad Mom. Enough said.
With a full-time job, 2 kids, a husband (I call him my first baby), and finishing up my last semester of grad-school, I am a card carrying member of #TeamNoSleep. Now, thanks to River Babe Threads, I can also have a shirt to prove membership! And I’m a sucker for a black & white raglan.
Arrow House is a stockist for these beautiful weekender bags by Ali Luma. Made ethically in Kenya, the production of this bag brings many jobs to Kenya and the proceeds of the bag go back into the community to help the elderly and provide education the children through programs funded by Ali Luma. The bag is a little expensive, yes, but the story and the purpose behind it is worth the price. Read the article on these bags (click the Arrow House link above) if for no other reason than to be reminded of the beauty that is still left in the world. ❤
Simply put, the Mommy Mailbox is a great way to remind yourself (once a month) that you deserve nice, thoughtful things too. For parents, the focus is always on the little humans so, sometimes, we can forget about ourselves. Mommy Mailbox is a monthly subscription that sends a sweet package to your doorstep. You will never be happier to see your mail-lady.
Stay Home Club is an emo-recluse-inspired brand that is oh, so cool. You can never go wrong with a good tote.
I am all about shopping small but a nice designer shoe is always a good choice for mom and how could you not just swoon over this pineapple slide by Tory Burch?! I’m in love.
To all my momma-bears out there: Happy Mother’s Day! Enjoy it! You totally deserve to.
