Easter Read with a Wolf

Ok– I was feeling very “Easter” in Barnes & Nobles during my last visit and decided that I wanted to get the kids a book that was themed. You know how B&N gets you each holiday season with a colorful table of books for that special day? I’ve been successful in not falling “victim” to those tables because, let’s be honest, my kids have enough books to open up a small library but just LOOK at this book:FullSizeRender 5.jpg

I mean, how could you pass up a wolf in a bunny onsie?! I die.

Anyways, the story is super cute and the illustrations are awesome.FullSizeRender 4.jpg

The plot is a twisty one, folks. Wolfie is left on a bunny family’s door and they raise him as their own but Dot, his older sister knows that, one day, he will get big and eat them!

It’s a pretty good read and RJ is pro-anything involving a wolf so he absolutely loved it. Check it out at the Easter-themed kids table at a Barnes & Nobles near you.

Lady Thirty|| Illustrator/Mom

I found Maria Andersson online while looking for amazing illustrators to capture the likeness of my kiddos. I immediately fell in love with her style of drawing. I thought it was very unorthodox and hip and fun and everything I wanted in a drawing of my babies.

I contacted her and within a few days Maria aka Lady Thirty responded and so our relationship began. She is a very humble and lovely lady. In addition to being a mother (the best title any woman can have!) she is an accomplished illustrator in children’s books.

She also does freelance/custom orders and sells some of her illustrations here. What I found most adorable about her custom drawings is that she draws the children wearing some of my favorite small shop brands!

I am such a fan. Check out her website or IG page (@ladythirty) and enjoy the visuals!
